Where I’m From
By Pat W. 10th Grade
I’m from a woman that gave birth to me and a man that was the first to hold me after the woman was tired. I’m from a place where brothas stand outside of barbershops and gas stations talkin bout who won the basketball game last night, you know the same place where a bucked up dude gave me an eye and robbed me for my mp3. I’m from the square where adults show smiles and little kids go wild and homeless people ask for change cause uncle sam hurt them too many times.
