LEI Around Town this Fall
This fall Lake Erie Ink is writing with new friends all over town. Through the Cleveland Public Library and the Ohio Center for the Book, we have been able to offer writing workshops for students of all ages at three branch libraries, providing opportunities for youth to write poems to enter in the international River of Words Art and Poetry Contest, sponsored by the Center for Environmental Literacy at St. Mary’s College of California. LEI is also offering three site-based weekly workshops through the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Cleveland and working with the Goodrich Gannett Neighborhood Center, Open Doors Academy, and students and faculty in the CH-UH schools. More projects are on the way. Find out how to bring LEI to your location.
