Teens Write the River and More! This summer…
Calling all teens grades 8-12! The Writing the River Summer Ink Camp is an unforgettable way to see Cleveland. Teens explore and reflect on the relationship between Cleveland and the water surrounding it. Join us on field trips to various sites including the West Bank of the Flats and the Cuyahoga River, East 9th Street Pier and the lake, and Tower City observation deck. Students will publish a blog as well as create public art with the Wick Poetry Center at Kent State and the West Creek Conservancy.
Teens meet at the Cleveland Public Library Main Branch on Tuesdays through Fridays June 18-28 from 3-6pm. Public transportation cost and snacks provided.
