Spring Poem!
Spring
First you want to have a lot of rain
Then add some lightening and clouds
Mix them together until it is light and fluffy
Next you want to add a bunch of flowers and buds
Depending on what type of Spring you want, add other plants
Until green and fluffy
Next you want to have a whole bunch of sunshine
Then sprinkle a pinch of joy and green
Mix until a gold frosting
then add a nice breeze and your done

If I Were In Charge of the World
If I was in charge of the world I would cancel homework I would cancel people being too rich I would also kick Donald Trump out
If I was in charge then, I would make school 3 days, Make pokémon a thing, And create a time machine.
If I was in charge, I would cancel walking, Make homework ILLEGAL, Make everything water beds, And renounce the weekend to be for lounging, And family.
That’s what I would do if I were in charge of the world

Tree Flower
On the playground I saw a tree
Around it was a pink and purple, green yellow flowers
I heard a whole bunch of buds I smelled delicious flowers
They are soft and the grass is sharp and the dirt is gritty.
I think that they are part of the universe.

Boredom Seeps Over Me
Boredom seeps over me Like a river flowing strong,
It buries me like dirt Over a coffin,
It seeps over me Like the Florida heat, Drowning me in sweat
It tires me like running Miles dragging my feet,
It covers me like A cold careless hug Given by somebody Who doesn’t want to.
Boredom crawls over me Like a spider ready to bite,
It annoys me, it tires me,
Boredom is Not Fun

When I Woke
When I woke, the snow was dancing.
After I brushed my teeth and got dressed, The snow had abruptly settled And dusk had crept over the snow.
Then I hugged my stuffed tiger.

Hope
Hope looks like The crackling fire on a winter night,
The new buds on a cherry tree,
Monday,
A whole new week.
Hope sounds like Tinkling bells, and bird calls, waves Crashing on unknown shores.
Hope feels like The breath of hot air as you walk inside, Hugs, love,
I believe you can find your hope
If you know
Where to look,
So many of us watch our lives passively
Like binge-watching your favorite show,
If you can try you can take the reins
And Steer towards hope

On This Playground – by Soren
On this playground there are trees with
sap, pine needles and bark and the bark
is soft and the grass is sharp and the dirt is gritty.
I think that they are part of the universe
Where I’m From – by Gabriel
I am from my mom’s stomach. From a clinic. I’m from my room, in a baby crib. I’m from my memories, where I scream. I am from a gifted classroom – from millions of papers. I’m from meeting a puppy – the joy of getting slobber on my cheek. I’m from falling down and getting my first cut, the cries of horror. I’m from hearing fables. The giggles of being tickled. The memory of getting called “stink bug.” I’m from the blood on my tongue when I licked an icicle. The gasps of excitement when they revealed me. This is what i’m from.
In the Dark / In the Light – by Evelyn
When it’s dark…
I feel scared, happy or peaceful, fuzzy
I taste black air, the stars outside, and the moon.
I taste the blackness!
I smell darkness and my friends around me.
I hear static and cars whooshing by
I see dreams of my future and my friends being nice
And my dreams of my friends
And yellow blobs that I think are ghosts.
I want something to happen like paranormal
Me to see the futures
And I think paranormal and creepy stuff etc.
My dreams
When it’s light…
I feel the fire is not protecting me
I feel dark and empty
I taste the ashes
I smell s’mores and my friends and gas
How us humans are destroying the earth
I hear my mom calling me and my past
I see my life and memories
I want something to go into my mouth
And I think that I want my school to change and be happy sometimes
