Lake Erie Ink leads the charge in Cleveland literary activism
Writing programs such as Lake Erie Ink have the power not only to help kids come out of their shells, but also to help teachers.
“We can help teachers to look at kids in new ways,” says Amy Rosenbluth, LEI Executive Director. “Just because a kid doesn’t meet your eye, answer you or turn in homework doesn’t mean they don’t have something to say.”
