90+ Young Artists and Writers Gather for Kids’ Comic Con at Lake Erie Ink
What a year it was for our 4th Annual Comic Con! Over 90 young people gathered at Lake Erie Ink on March 19, 2016 to learn the art of comic book making, from storyboarding, to drawing faces, to creating a sense of place. Not only did attendees get to learn how to draw and write from comic book experts, they also explored the role of women and girls in comics and had the chance to create their own comic character out of clay. Comic book aficionados came from as far as Toledo and Western Pennsylvania to participate and spanned from 1st grade through high school.
