10 Years at Lake Erie Ink
10 years ago, who would have thought we would end up where we are today?
After years of open mics, book launches, comic cons and stories in all shapes and sizes, we continue to provide creative expression opportunities for youth. When the world stopped, we found a way to keep our community connected. We started summer with a virtual book launch and moved on to run virtual creative expression camps that served more than 100 youth, and we haven’t slowed down yet.
This year, we are working with the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage and school districts throughout Greater Cleveland to facilitate writing workshops empowering youth to address issues of hate and imagine a more equitable world. Read more about our 10 reflections plans here!
As we move forward, we invite you to look back with us and celebrate how far we’ve come. Donate today at https://lakeerieink.org/donate/.
