Creative Writing for Teachers (and others who work with youth)
Fridays at 2 pm starting May 1st
Creative Writing for Teachers–Get inspired as a writer with prompts and conversation. Explore a variety of genres in a supportive writing group facilitated by Cynthia Larsen. For K-12 teachers and others who work with youth. From journaling techniques, to poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction, we will explore the genres that interest you as we work to develop a daily writing practice.

Cynthia studied creative writing as an undergrad at Stanford and received her MFA in creative writing from the University of Arizona. How to Participate
- Register for a program on our website.
- Download Zoom software on your computer, phone or tablet.
- Feel free to test out your hardware and software by experimenting with Zoom.
- Look for an email from your workshop facilitator explaining how to log onto zoom.
- You will receive a link to join a zoom meeting at the scheduled time.
- Make sure you are connected to the internet using WiFi or cellular.
- Log on, click yes for video and audio and enjoy.
Hint: Add the workshop dates to your calendar so you don’t forget to log on. Notice the time zone if you are not in EST.
