Join us for activities where you can share your writing, play games with friends, and learn from guest writers!

For grades 6-12. Scholarships are available for all programs. All programs take place at Lake Erie Ink’s Coventry location unless otherwise noted.

Face the College Essay Workshops

The college essay helps students stand out as they tell their unique story in response to the Common App and other prompts. Write an essay featuring YOU.  Learn strategies for brainstorming essay topics, review the Common App, and start your first essay.  Receive feedback and coaching to finish, revise and polish your essay.

All College Essay Workshops are $10.

Weekend Ink

October: Creepy Cinema

Watch a classic horror film and then write your own script, story, or comic inspired by the film.

December: Paper Arts

Evening Ink

NaNoWriMo | 5th-12th grade | Wednesdays | Oct 23-Dec 6 | 6:30-8pm | $120 | VIRTUAL

Meet with other youth writers who are passionate about completing the NaNoWriMo Challenge. We’ll provide productivity strategies, tools to overcome writer’s block, and keep you on track to hit your goal. Join us and transform your novel writing experience!
