College Essay Workshop
–
July 14, 2020
There is one element of the college application process that lets students stand out among the slew of quantitative information (i.e. GPA, test scores, and the number of college prep courses on your transcripts). We speak of the personal statement. Yet sitting down and writing the paragraphs that are meant to represent you so well can be a challenging task for many. Well, dread no more! Lake Erie Ink is here to help.
Lake Erie Ink hosts college essay workshops for college-bound students. During the sessions, youth will identify the stories that make them unique and learn to express them in a compelling way – all while receiving assistance from experienced writers.
The workshop will be held Wednesday, April 7 from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM and April 14 from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM on zoom. Click here and scroll to the "how to participate" section for more information on how to access zoom. Call us at (216)320-4757 or email us at staff@lakeerieink.org if you have any questions.
