Lake Erie Ink Awarded Roslyn Z. Wolf Award by NCJW!
We are honored to have been awarded the 13th Annual Roslyn Z. Wolf Award by the Wolf Family and the National Council of Jewish Women! This award is given annually to a nonprofit organization in Greater Cleveland that demonstrates outstanding contribution in the areas of youth, families, and education.
The 2019 Roslyn Z. Wolf Award will support Lake Erie Ink’s Amplify Project, a year-long creative expression project that will take place in libraries and schools in East Cleveland where literacy levels are some of the lowest in the area. Lake Erie Ink will engage with youth and families in the East Cleveland community in creative literacy skill-building programs. As a result of participating in these programs, youth will develop writing fluency as well as build confidence and a greater sense of self socially and academically.
Thank you to the NCJW for the recognition and funding for a program we care so much about.
