Spring 2024
Evening Ink programs run one night a week for 10 weeks. All in-person programs meet at Lake Erie Ink’s Coventry location. Evening Ink does not meet on holidays. Scholarships are available for all programs.
Writers’ Club – Virtual

Join other teens to explore creative writing across genres! Get inspired with different prompts and themes, and work on stories important to you.
D&D: Story Games

Fridays, 2 sessions | 4th-12th grade | Feb 2-Apr 19 | 4-6pm | $210
Participants will create their own character and epic tale that will guide them through the story game.

Have You Heard? Teen Podcasting Workshop
Mondays & Tuesdays | 9th-12th grade | June 8-July 30 | 5-8pm
Calling all podcasters and audio storytellers! In this intensive summer workshop just for teens (ages 12-18), you’ll report, write and produce a short nonfiction audio story about your life or community… in just four weeks! You’ll learn how to gather sound, do interviews, pull tape, write scripts… and get an awesome audio story together. Finished pieces will be shared in a special exhibition at the close of the workshop.

Critics’ Club
Wednesdays | 6th-8th grade | June 12-July 31 | 5-7pm | $90
The Critics Club offers teens an opportunity to explore and establish their opinion on cultural topics and issues found in books, movies and music. After exploration, they will create their own shorter creative compositions (scripts, songs or raps, and short fiction or plays). Teens will have an opportunity to hear from a guest speaker who works in film, music, and writing.
Pride Outside: LGBTQ+ Voices
Mondays | 6:30-8pm | 6th-12th grade | FREE
Pride Outside is a unique program designed to provide a safe and inclusive space for young individuals within the LGBTQ+ community to explore and express their creative writing talents. Through workshops, group discussions, and public art, teens will have the opportunity to develop their writing skills, hone their storytelling abilities, and contribute to a vibrant collection of LGBTQ+ literature.
Poetry in the Park

Poetry in the Park is a teen program that invites young poets and poetry enthusiasts to come together and express themselves in the serene setting of a local park. This program provides a platform for teenagers to share their original poems, engage in open mic sessions, and participate in creative writing workshops.
