Lake Erie Ink inspires teen writers!
Lake Erie Ink inspires teen writers to find their voice and craft their stories at its 2nd annual Teen Fiction Symposium on May 17,2014. Young writers will work with and learn from local authors Paula McLain, J.T. Dutton, Tricia Springstubb, Charles Oberndorf, and Megan Whalen Turner.
This event gives teen writers in greater Cleveland the opportunity to meet local writers, get inspired, and experiment with new techniques.
The Symposium takes place from 12:30-3:30 p.m. at our space in the Coventry Elementary building, 2843 Washington Blvd., Cleveland Heights. We welcome teens in grades 6-12 and teachers who want to learn more about the craft of fiction.
Program registration is $5 with scholarships available, and is funded in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture. For more information or to register, visit www.lakeerieink.org or call 216-320-4757.
