Fall Renga
By Molly, Jaimari, Zoe, and Jakarta at the Ink Spot
Soft leaves, sharp grass
Smells like the dogs poop from the grass
Sounds of crickets chirping
A cool season
Hard chunky woodchips and
A soft cold breeze
Smells like lawnmowers after cutting grass
Sounds like motors vrooming
I see kids playing on playground tires
And kids jumping off things
The touch of the world is a feeling worth feeling
Plants that smell like minty laundry
I hear leaves rustling in the wind
We see leaves changing from green to brown and
We see an entire world of nature
