Power of Poetry Open Mic
Friday, April 15 @ 6:30pm
Calling poets of all ages! On Friday, April 15th, Lake Erie Ink will host the Power of Poetry Open Mic, featuring guest emcee Eris Eady, to celebrate National Poetry Month. Come by for poetry, pizza and inspiration. Bring your poems, stories or songs to share, or write one while you’re here. This event is open to teens and adults and will take place inside the Ensemble Theatre’s Playground Theatre. Open Mics are made possible by the generous support of the Callahan Foundation.
Writing for Change: The Power of Poetry workshop

Join Lake Erie Ink and Literary Cleveland for a workshop for youth and adults and explore how we use writing to express the change we want to see in ourselves and in our communities. Youth workshops feature Michael Salinger and Sara Holbrook. Teen and adult workshops feature Mary Quade, Eris Eady and Catherine Wing. This program is part of Lake Erie Ink’s Weekend Ink series and is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture. Register today.
Evening Ink: Teen Writing Workshop
Every Wednesday @ 7:00pm
Evening Ink is a weekly drop-in writer’s workshop for teens grade 6 – 12. It meets Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30pm. Writers can work on poems, plays, songs, comics and more. Bring your writing and your ideas!
