I Come From by Iyona H.
I come from my mother’s stomach
and my father’s big heart.
I come from Ohio, my town and city,
the hospital where I was born,
and Lake Erie Ink writing club
where I can write for a long time.
I come from my birthday and my family’s birthdays.
We always go somewhere fun.
I come from my home that I love,
my room where I can be just me
and Skyzone where I can jump.
I come from a tiny bit of cursing that I can’t stand
and a lot of people saying “stupid” and that I really hear a lot.
