Lake Erie Ink Says Thank You!
Supporters and friends of Lake Erie Ink were invited to a student showcase where they met students and learned about our summer camps. It was a wonderful event!
Our program director, Jill Levin, remarked on the amount of parents and kids that chose to stand up and speak at the event. “For the kids especially,” she says, “what a great thing to be given that chance to be validated by a supportive adult audience that takes them seriously enough to listen to their words as young writers and artists. For some, it was one of many times they’ve been given that chance by Lake Erie Ink, and for others it was a first bold step.”
We are so grateful to those that have dedicated their time and talent to supporting and inspiring the students of Lake Erie Ink and making our community what it is today.
